I have 10+ years food styling for print, web, & tv in addition to my 20+ years working in commercial kitchens. My experiences range from sushi to gastropub as a line cook to an owner. I draw from my broad culinary background for inspiration, often combining the principals of classics with unique & intriguing trends.
I'll never have the same day on set twice. It's the fusion of fundamentals and creativity that solve the ever unique challenges which arise on set. Communication is paramount to identifying what the goals are and how to best collaborate and achieve them. I truly enjoy the process and thrive on developing new ways to produce and present novel compositions. I take a similar approach to writing recipes by combining classics with trends to yield a fresh and unique experience for the reader in their kitchen.
